2019 Christmas Project in India
November
Update

Dear RHM Friends,

Greetings in the Precious Name of our Savior. Pray for me, as I start the journey back to India on the 13th of this month. Pray for good health during the flights. Excited to get back to whatever the Lord has in store for the coming days!

Don't know how many of you are putting your mind on Christmas these days, but usually we have to start thinking a little early. In the month of December, there may be at least 8 Christmas meetings which I'll be a part of. It's always a great time of ministry, usually quite a few extra children and adults coming for the Christmas programs. Perhaps another $4-5,000 would be a great blessing and enable us to do all that is in our hearts for this season. Already a great donation was given, which provides 3 sets of new clothes for every HOPE child. So what still remains that we know of so far is this: New clothes for the HMP widows, Christmas celebrations for the HOPE School and home (including snacks for all the children & staff), bonuses for all the HOPE staff, nearly 25 total, including both the school and home; gifts, snacks & meetings in at least 6 villages or towns: 2 where the HOPE children are doing ministry, and at least another 4 programs where we are a part of other children's ministry; at least one set of new clothes for the 11 girls which we are helping in another part of India; assisting the pastors in that same area as they try to distribute new clothes to the elderly and poor in their villages. If we have extra Christmas funds there's others also we can bless in the Name of JESUS during this season. Sometimes we use any excess to do work projects at HOPE, or anywhere there is an extra need.

A follow-up of previous prayer needs:
1. We asked you to pray for the HOPE boys last month, many of them having fevers, the girls all doing fine at that time. Now the boys are fine, but this fever thing is coming in waves. Again several of the HOPE girls having been getting fevers, and many have coughs and/or colds. At this writing (for those who know the children), Jean Joy, Iswarya, K. Sravani, Hepsiba and Dhana all have had fevers within the last couple of days, some still with fevers this morning. Another young girl (in the other girls home we help with in India), Rani, has boils in her ears. Please pray for these children.

2. The 5 prisoners are STILL awaiting their cases to be heard in India's Supreme Court, this time the date moved back to November 19th. The date has been postponed several times already, and the 5 men and families are surely struggling with the delay. As most of you know, already they have been in prison unjustly since 2008! Thank GOD, 2 of the original 7 accused of killing a Hindu leader were released earlier this year. Please pray for these men and their families.

Remember, the RHM Blog is a good tool to be able to stay in touch with what's going on with the RHM ministries, but also to keep abreast of some of the prayer needs which are here. The RHM YouTube channel has MANY videos of various aspects of the ministry. These tools help you to be more acquainted with what's going on in the ministries which we're connected with in India.

Thank you always for your love, prayers and support! Bless you.

Brother Dan
ABOVE: HOPE little girls doing a dance during last year's Christmas program in the village of KB Palem. This is a VERY poor village, a great opportunity to share Christ. HOPE does children's ministry here a couple of times a month. Our widows & elderly ministry, along with a literacy program also is going on in this village several times a month.
ABOVE: These are HOPE widows (two never married) after receiving new clothes during last year's Christmas program at HOPE. One or 2 of these women have since passed away. The man is Brother Emmanuel, who has been serving as a pastor for these HOPE widows for several years, conducting daily devotions for the widows at HOPE before they eat their lunch meal. Remember, the HOPE widows ministry is called the HOPE Manna Program (HMP).
ABOVE: This was the 2018 Christmas program for the HOPE School. The school is actually upstairs, but there is more room to conduct the Christmas program downstairs, as many of the children's parents and relatives also come.
ABOVE:  Sharing a cake among the HOPE School teachers and staff during last year's school Christmas program. As the Lord provides, we hope to annually provide this staff (all those working in the HOPE School and in the HOPE girls and boys homes) with a Christmas bonus each year. RHM and HOPE have not been able to provide large salaries to the staff, so the bonuses are a good encouragement for them. We praise GOD for all the staff, as most all of them work hard and sacrificially.
ABOVE: These are poor people, mostly elderly, in another part of India where we are connected with another ministry which reaches out to various people, including having a girls home (11 girls). Each year the ministry there tries to provide some new clothes to many elderly and poor in their villages, so RHM tries to contribute something to help them do this.
ABOVE: HOPE girls (standing) are singing in last year's Christmas program in the village of Nandayapalem. At least 35 are HOPE children, but well more than half the crowd (many not in the photo) are villagers. This year Brother Prasanth's youth team will be leading the Christmas program in this village, and RHM will again try and provide gifts for all the children, and snacks for all who come. Most of these village children are from Hindu homes (coming regularly for Sunday School also), and some Hindu villagers always come to the Christmas program to check out all the noise and excitement.
ABOVE: HOPE girls in Nandayapalem. Rizwana (left) is Gabriel, announcing to Mary about the virgin birth. Suvarna played the part of Mary.
ABOVE: We're a part of supporting a brother named Bhaskara Rao's children's ministry each month. Here is a monthly meeting held at one of Brother Prasanth's churches, Bhaskara Rao usually ministering as well. This meeting was in the village of Chinthayapalem (where the HOPE boys and I also stay). These are girls about to sing a song, Brother Raju (standing in background) overseeing the program.
ABOVE: This is Kathy (also called Rani) giving little soaps to children in Gandhi Nagar. Rani is leading Sunday School in this poor area of Bapatla (where HOPE is also located), and another Sunday School as well with her own village children. Lord willing (funds permitting), we hope to help with the Christmas program in Gandhi Nagar next month.
ABOVE: This man is the husband of Narsamma, part of our widows & elderly ministry in the village of KB Palem. He's by the new hut the Lord provided for them recently. Sadly, this man passed away about 2 or 3 weeks ago.
ABOVE: This is the new home the Lord provided for a widow named Ramanamma in the village of Jampalavaripalem. Brother Wesley oversees our widows & elderly ministry in this area. Sadly, Ramanamma also passed away very recently, and I don't think she even got to spend one day in her new home. But we have the hope that she has a much better "home" awaiting her in glory! 2 Corinthians 5:1
ABOVE: Brother Raju (same brother as in a previous photo) praying over the elderly in Subba Reddy Colony after completing the weekly literacy class in that village.
ABOVE: Literacy class in KB Palem. As you can see, the children are now far outnumbering the elderly who are attending. Brother Raju is the teacher in all 5 of the villages where the literacy classes are held, sometimes having another young man assisting him.
ABOVE: Worshipping, seeking or praying in another part of India where we are involved in ministry. Always love to see children sincerely seeking GOD!
ABOVE: The tall boy is Yesubabu, who turned 14 on November 4th. The other HOPE boys are showing the birthday greetings which they made for him. Good looking boys!
ABOVE: HOPE's Mary turned 14 on October 28th. Here she's passing out chocolates during her birthday function at the girls home.
"Whatever you do, do all things to the glory of GOD." 1 Corinthians 10:31
