Pray With Us In 2020
January Update
Dear RHM Friends,
We're not asking you to just pray one time in regard to RHM's ministry in 2020. If you can at least do that, great! But more than that, we hope that the Holy Spirit will raise up some brothers and sisters who will commit to regular prayer for the things which you read about in these updates and newsletters.
"The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much." James 5:16
Satan and the powers of darkness are hard at work with their own mission:
"to deceive the whole world" (Revelation 12:9), and to bring about the fulfillment of Christ's Words in
Matthew 24:12, "Because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold." To whom is this referring, and what "love" is He talking about? Unbelievers don't have the love of GOD in them to begin with; neither do they have a love for Him. He's talking about believers who are getting sucked into this "lovers of self, lovers of money...lovers of pleasure" spirit which is permeating throughout the entire world in these last days.
In the last days, not only will the general condition of the world get worse and more sinful, but the condition of so many who claim Christ will also deteriate to the point that most of the Church will look, talk and act just like the world. And for those who do ministry with other ministers, it's not always easy to find men or women of GOD who walk in integrity and the fear of GOD, so that they are careful to honor Him in all that they do. Brother Wesley and I just returned from a trip where the Lord exposed a man who's claiming to be a pastor and run a children's home, and trying to get donors to support him. As it turns out, he's definitely not running a children's home, and it's pretty doubtful whether or not he's even a legitimate pastor.
My friends, in these last days, especially with the rapidly swelling influence of the internet, this kind of deception and evil will only increase. Paul said,
"But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived." 2 Timothy 3:13. I encourage you to read the following Verses in this chapter (2 Timothy 3:14-17), where Paul is saying, "But you" (including us), stay in the Word and hold onto it! Another sign of the last days: the Word which is supposed to be the "life" of those who claim to be His children, will become obsolete and have little relevance (or practical application) in the lives of most people who claim to be believers.
Proverbs 4:13, 22
Thanks again to all those who gave and prayed for these ministries in India during 2019. Donations in general, though down during the first half of 2019, picked up compared to 2018, thanks to a few larger donations given, and many donations given during the last 5 or 6 weeks of the year. Praise the Lord for His faithfulness, and for touching many hearts!
Please look at the photos below and read the captions, which gives a good picture of what the Lord has been doing since last month's update. Thank you always for your love, prayers and support! Bless you.
Brother Dan

ABOVE: HOPE girls in one of their new Christmas dresses. We praise the Lord for just a little under $5,000 which was designated for "HOPE Christmas", while another $3,500 was given for Christmas in general. What a blessing to have an excess which we can use as the Lord would lead us through prayer.

From left: Peter (oversees the boys home), Emmanuel (leads the widows ministry daily devotions, and other outside works for HMP), Rajavardan (van driver, and helps with many other works in and out of the home), Yesudas (accountant), Devadanam (auto rickshaw driver), Ganga Raju and Yesupadam (watchmen).

Peter's wife, together overseeing the boys home), Sister Buelah (main person running the HOPE ministry, and called "Mommy" by the HOPE children), Vijaya Rani (cook), Deenamma Aunty (also helps with the girls and other physical works).

ABOVE: Little ones in KB Palem in literacy class. They, along with a few elderly there at the same time, surely present Brother Raju with some major challenges as he tries to teach. But Raju seems to have the Lord's love for them, as he is gathering them and encouraging them to come each week.

ABOVE: The girl is Rani, who conducts a couple of Sunday Schools and a tuition class which we're a part of. Here she's helping with a puppet show (forgot the name of the minister working with the puppets and doing children's ministry). It was a nice outdoor meeting in a tribal area of Bapatla on Christmas night, maybe 150 or so people in attendance. Most of them are Hindu, so a great opportunity to share the Gospel with them.

ABOVE: HOPE boys singing during the HOPE Christmas program in the village of KB Palem. In this same village, HOPE is doing children's ministry a couple of times a month, we're doing widows & elderly ministry a couple of times a month, and Brother Raju is conducting the literacy classes once a week. Pray with us that the Spirit of GOD can break through all the spiritual blindness over the minds of the people as all of these ministry endeavors are going on. There's also a pastor who's been doing regular ministry there for years, who is very cooperative with all the above ministries.

ABOVE: Girls in the village of Nandayapalem doing a skit during this year's Christmas program there, conducted by the El Bethel Ministries. Two main brothers work with me in the widows & elderly ministry (as well as helping in many other ministry works also): Brother Prasanth, he and his father leading the El Bethel ministry; and Brother Wesley, a pastor in another town called Singarayakonda. Very thankful for both of them.

ABOVE: Precious little girls trying to do an action song in Golapalem during the Christmas program there, also conducted by El Bethel. The children's minister whom RHM assists monthly, Bhaskara Rao, also participated in all of El Bethel's Christmas programs. We thank GOD for the Body of Christ, so many different people whom the Lord has connected us with in doing ministry. And so many different people who are in other parts of the world, praying for and supporting these works. Praise the Lord!
