Lifting Our Hearts and Hands
September 12, 2023 Update
Dear RHM Friends,
Greetings in the Name of our Precious Lord JESUS.
"Why should any living mortal, or any man, offer complaint in view of his sins? Let us examine and probe our ways, and let us return to the Lord. Let us lift our hearts and hands to GOD in heaven." Lamentations 3:39-41
If we are honest with ourselves, most of us have many questions about why we don't see more of the Lord's glorious Promises being fulfilled, whether it be in the realm of healing, deliverance, an overcoming life, financial needs that are unmet, guidance that seems elusive, etc. These issues could be the result of His testing in our life, or part of a much deeper work taking place in our hearts...but another very real possibility is that there is some type of sin or unbelief in our life which has hindered His Spirit from doing greater things in our lives. This can apply to our personal life, our family, business, ministry. One thing we can be confident of: as we seek Him, He is a loving GOD, a loving Father, and He desires to reveal Himself to the hungry heart.
Pray for us who are doing the ministry here. This has been a season of many people, including those of us in ministry, and those who are recipients, getting sick. One of our girls, Mary, had malaria, but is now better. Our fulltime worker with the elderly people, Sister Jhansi, was down with a fever, but is better now. Brother Prasanth now has typhoid fever...and others also have been struggling. It's a tropical climate here, often rainy and humid, and sometimes about 95 in the afternoon. Here recently, there has been more rain.
Pray for me, as I'm scheduled to return to the States in a few days. Pray for good health, and a fruitful time with friends and family while there.
Please scroll down for precious photos and captions of the work in India. There is much information within these captions about what the Lord is doing in India via this ministry and through your donations and prayers.
Bless you always for your prayers and support!
Brother Dan

ABOVE: Some girls leading in a song during a meeting conducted just 2 days ago. We're very thankful for the 70-90 people regularly coming to these weekly meetings. We've opened it up to whosoever will, and so far are having a good turnout. Praise the Lord.

ABOVE: Another family whom we've recently connected with had an electric pole break and fall onto their roof recently. We're very thankful for a donor who gave $500 to help repair this. One of the daughters in this family, Veni, is now coming faithfully to the prayers, and her parents and older sister (all from strong Hindu roots) are listening. Pray for this family's salvation.

ABOVE: Some boys are with Brother Prasanth when we took them on an excursion to some gardens in August. The little boy is Benny, Prasanth's son. Many stories are there in these boys' lives, a couple of them with drunken fathers, 3 of them without a father, and another one's Dad seems to be oblivious to the needs of his children.

ABOVE: Children are singing during devotion time at Blessy's home (Blessy is a 3rd year college student). We had taken these children to a local park, and wanted to have some prayer time with them before returning them all to their homes. It was a blessed evening together.

ABOVE: I like this photo a lot, little Ribca (Telugu for Rebecca) observing other girls as they worship the Lord. This is during our monthly gathering in a town called Karlapalem in August.

ABOVE: The young man standing is Baji, his wife Navya on the right. Their 2nd anniversary took place recently, and they invited us to their rental home for a time of prayer, devotions & lunch. Baji is the young man who had a liver transplant in February, Navya being the liver donor. Both are doing much better now, but continue to pray for them, as they have huge debts as a result of taking loans for the operation.

ABOVE: The last one sitting on the ground is Sister Sandhya, who has 2 girls, Abhinaya who is next to her, and Akshaya (far left). The Lord has given a great opportunity to Bro. Raju and his wife Pavani to visit their home on a weekly basis. Neighbors are also coming to praise the Lord and hear His Word, sometimes a few (as in this meeting), but sometimes several others are coming.

ABOVE: Brother Marthababu is leading children in prayer in a small village. We are very thankful for Marthababu and his wife Pavani. Both were working jobs before joining us in this ministry. They were definitely making more with their previous jobs, but have a desire to touch the lives of the people. Most of the brothers and sisters who are working with us are like that, having the ability to make more money in the secular field, but having a greater desire to work for the Lord in fulltime ministry.

ABOVE: Brother Subra Manyam, his wife Dwarakamma, and their cute little granddaughters, Manu (left) and Kavya. We have assisted this couple with their health needs in recent times. Subra Manyam had an operation recently (our help was minimal, as the surgery was paid for by the govt), and his wife is still recovering from cancer.

ABOVE: Shine (maybe 12) with her new bicycle. Sadly, only a week or 2 later the bicycle was stolen at her school. She said that her lock wasn't working, so she didn't have it locked. She cried and cried. Eventually we'll get her another one, but will wait before doing that immediately. Shine is a very nice girl; it is her Dad who recently died in the tractor accident.
