Good News, Sad News
January 22, 2024 Update
Dear RHM Friends,
Greetings in the Name of our Precious Lord JESUS.
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6
The "good news" is that the Lord used our donors to help us move into a better financial position heading into 2024. Praising our GOD for that, and for all our donors! The "sad news" (I won't call it bad, but it is sad for many) is that my visa was rejected after reaching the Chennai airport, and I have returned once again to the US. Long story short, they said I could not come into the country on a tourist visa since I am involved in social and "religious work". Pray for the Lord's will and direction in the coming days.
The only other thing on my heart at this time is to ask you to pray for the salvation of all the precious ones we are ministering to. One thing is for sure: there is a heaven and there is a hell, and EVERYONE will go to one or the other. When that reality sinks in, the ministry and prayers are filled with tears. We're trusting in His great love and mercy!
"But GOD, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)..." Ephesians 2:4-5
Please scroll down for precious photos and captions of the work in India. There is much information within these captions about what the Lord is doing in India via this ministry and through your donations and prayers.
Bless you always for your prayers and support!
Brother Dan
"So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith." Galatians 6:10

ABOVE: By our Father's grace (through precious donors) we were able to give distributions of food to several poor families who live in a town named Karlapalem. The men in this village often catch rats to stop them from ruining the crops, but Cyclone Michaung spoiled most of the fields when it was very near to harvest time.

|
ABOVE: There were also several families in a village called Nandayapalem who received food 2 separate times. These people catch rats, work in the fields, and do other odd jobs, but have been out of work because of the cyclone.

ABOVE: A mother (Sivamma) and her son Sankar, their family receiving food also. This family (having one Dad and 2 mothers with about 12 children, some already married) had a miracle happen in their life recently. The Dad has mostly stopped the wives and older children from coming to church, although he has allowed the 4 smallest children. We have been praying that the Lord would do something big to humble and change this man's heart. Over a week ago, at least 3 of his family members had some demon possession, the demons telling them to commit suicide. The man took his family members to a Muslim mosque, with no results, so brought them to the church. That is when the demons manifested and were cast out. Praise the Lord! Pray that the Lord will continue revealing Himself to this family. The wives and some of the children have had a desire to come to prayers, but the Dad has forbid them.

ABOVE: Sister Latha and her girls, Keerthi (8th grade, left) and Teja (10th grade). The father of the home died of a skin problem in early 2021, so the Lord has us helping this family with food. Here they just received new Christmas clothes.

ABOVE: The brother on the right is the pastor of the church in a village called Bangarakkapalem. The 2 women are widows we're assisting, and the man on the left, Jacob, his body died just a few days ago. He had problems with his kidneys for years, and also struggled with diabetes. They also had just received Christmas clothes.

ABOVE: These girls singing in a recent meeting are Sreeya (left), Nandini, Sowmya and Suma. Sreeya, Sowmya and Suma's Daddy just died a week before this meeting took place (he had severe diabetes, and suddenly died of a heart attack). Pray for these 3 girls, their 2 little brothers and their mother.

ABOVE: The little girl in the pink dress (front row in the middle) is Deborah, who had a birthday in late October. That is the purpose of this gathering, only maybe 4 of these children from Christian homes, all the others from Hindu families. Deborah's little brother, Vijay Kumar, is hiding his face, their mother to the left with the yellow head covering. RHM is helping these 2 children whenever they have a need, and their grandmother (in white dress toward the back), who is a widow.

ABOVE: This is taking place during a gathering of children for tutoring after school hours. Sometimes Sister Mary will teach them some spiritual lesson, or as in this case, have the children pray together. This is 2 sisters Manu & Kavya, and Poojitha (bigger girl) with her little brother Vamsi. Beautiful to see little ones talking to our Father!
