Thankful for Our Children!
RHM February Update
Dear RHM Friends,
Greetings in the Name of our Precious Lord JESUS.
"Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, 'Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.'
And
He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed
them."
Mark 10:13-16
Don't you love this picture? Those children, especially those who later came to salvation, surely never forgot how the Son of GOD, GOD in the flesh, their Savior, took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them. Hallelujah! I hope all of us can feel that same precious love and touch upon our own lives.
A couple of quick praise reports, although the healing is not yet complete. We had asked you to pray for Jone, a 16 year old boy diagnosed with tuberculosis. After further testing, it was concluded that the TB is in its early stages. He's on medication and is starting to feel better. We also asked you to pray for 9 year old Lasya, a girl who accidentally stuck a knife in her eye, blinding her in that eye. After one or 2 surgeries (we only helped with a very small amount, less than $60), she is able to see again to some degree. Praise the Lord! There is a photo of Lasya below without her dark glasses on, which she is still wearing most of the time. Thank You Lord for Your mercy and healing touch!
Let me share one desire we have for some of the children in this ministry. Most of the children we are assisting in some way will go on to college, and eventually try to get a job. But sometimes there is a child who has a deep desire to serve the Lord is some capacity, instead of going for a job. Soniya (15, in the 10th grade photo below, and in the girls home photos at the bottom of this update) is such a child. We have noticed over the last few years that she has deeper spiritual desires than most children, has always been a good example for the other children in character and spiritual discipline, and has clearly expressed to us her desire to honor JESUS with her life. We will not force them, but if any of the children have more of a desire for some kind of Bible training instead of secular college, we would like to be able to help them.
If the Lord tarries, it's likely that some children will get jobs, some (girls) will end up getting married instead of working a job, some will simply drop out of their studies, and some will have desires to do some kind of ministry. We don't want RHM to only be a channel for helping the children better their financial conditions, but also help some of them fulfill their calling to full-time service for the Lord. Pray with us about this, and let us know if you would like to help us in that endeavor.
Please see and read the photos & captions below, These captions always give you things that you can pray for, as well as rejoice with us for what the Lord is doing in the lives of our precious Indian friends.
Thank you ALWAYS for your love, prayers and support! Bless you.
Brother Dan

ABOVE: These are children whom your donations are helping with education, all of them attending one school in the town of Bapatla in SE India. These are most of the children we're helping from 10th grade down to the lower grades. This school administration is giving us a good discount for our children. In the below photos are the children according to their grade level. Only one 2nd grader is missing from the above photo, but she is down below.

|
ABOVE: This is two of our 2nd graders, Kavya (9) and Vikram (7). Kavya is a little above her grade level in both size and intelligence, so she might be "jumped" to the 4th grade next year.

ABOVE: Another 2nd grader, Hasini (7). She's the one missing from the group photo. |

|
ABOVE: This is Lasya (9), our only 3rd grader that we are sponsoring, although there are many others in her class. Lasya is the girl we have asked you to pray for, who accidentally stuck a knife in her eye a couple of months ago. I don't have clear information, but surgeons have done one or 2 eye surgeries since then. By our Father's amazing grace she is able to see again! It's not 100%, but much better than it was. She usually wears dark glasses because her right eye is sensitive to light. Pray for Lasya, as they are planning for one more surgery. |

ABOVE: Pray for these 2 children, Deborah (9) and Vijay Kumar (6). Both currently have the chicken pox. Chandramma (left) is one of our few widows still receiving monthly support. Deborah, Vijay and their mother (backside), have been staying with Chandramma (grandmother) since the father abandoned them around 2019. |

ABOVE: Brother Marthababu, one of our children's workers, and his wife, Pavani, visit this small village of very poor people 2 to 4 times a month. There's about 6 families in this village, only a few of them having come to the Lord. But we continue to plant seeds, trusting in the Lord of the Harvest to touch their hearts. |

ABOVE: The last few photos are of our girls home children, all of them also in the school photos above. From left are Venkata Lakshmi (12), Soniya (15), Divya (12), Yasaswi (11) and Bindu (14). I'm not for sure, but am thinking that they are wearing Christmas clothes that was purchased for them. |

|
|
|
ABOVE: The girls are having a time of prayer, probably after having had some devotions, either in the morning or after school. |
|
|
|
|
ABOVE: Four of the girls are having a meal with Sister Mary, who watches over the girls home. Currently, Soniya is staying at the school, preparing for 10th grade exams. This was required by the school, as much emphasis is placed on passing the 10th grade exams (similar in importance in India as 12th grade is here in America). Exams should be finished sometime in March. Venkata Lakshmi also is not with the girls now, as she has chicken pox, so trying to keep it from spreading. Lord willing, by the end of the month all of the girls will be together again. |

|
ABOVE: Precious girls with Sister Mary. They seem to be genuinely happy. Please pray for the girls in this home, and for Sister Mary, sometimes having health problems. |
