Thankful Hearts!
RHM April Update

Dear RHM Friends,

Greetings in the Name of our Precious Lord JESUS.

"In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus."
                                                                                              1 Thessalonians 5:18

We are truly thankful for this ministry the Lord has placed in our hands, as the Bible says, being "co-laborers with the Lord". Although He uses many brothers and sisters to fulfill His desires (donors, staff in India, people helping on the admin side, people praying...), ultimately we know that it is all His grace doing the work, and we hope that all that is done brings Him glory.

I've been a little out of the loop recently, so am just barely getting this out in April (if it indeed goes out this evening). I had another surgery on my leg Monday (doing well, praise the Lord), and wasn't feeling well today. Lord willing, for those who are regularly viewing the blog and Facebook posts, we'll have those things coming to you more regularly in the days to come.

Thankfully, I don't have any crisis to share with you. Most of the children have finished their academic year, and are now having summer holidays. Please pray for us, as Brother Raju makes plans for some local excursions and special meetings during the summer, most schools and colleges reopening by mid-June.

Please see and read the photos & captions below, These captions always give you things that you can pray for, as well as rejoice with us for what the Lord is doing in the lives of our precious Indian friends.

Thank you ALWAYS for your love, prayers and support! Bless you.

Brother Dan

"So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith."  Galatians 6:10

ABOVE: This is Sister Mary (left) with the 5 girls home children and Kavya, the younger sister of 2 of the home girls. They had the blessing of going on an excursion a couple of weeks ago. We are thankful that we can occasionally provide these experiences for the children at a fraction of what it would cost in America. Including travel time, food, everything, this trip with 6 children and 4 adults cost a total of $113. Try that in the USA!
ABOVE: Brother Raju is leading the group in a discreet time of devotions while at this theme park called Bhavani Island, literally on an island in the Krishna River in the city of Vijayawada. The park officials don't want singing or "religious activities", so we must keep it low key.
ABOVE: Raju, Mary, Pavani (left, her husband Marthababu with the camera) and the children crossing the Krishna River to Bhavani Island. For one or 2 of the children, it was their first time on a boat.
ABOVE: This is Mary and the children inside what is called 'Mirror Maze'.
ABOVE: Enjoying a playground inside Bhavani Island. I've shared their names MANY times, so not sharing that this time. Go to our   RHM Blog, and you can easily find all their names.
ABOVE: They traveled to/fro Bhavani by train. The children were tired on the return journey, so slept. After they woke up, shortly before reaching their station, they had a small meal to revive them. From left are Soniya, Venkata Lakshmi and Bindu.
ABOVE: Brother Wesley (left) has worked with me in ministry since 2008, but hasn't spent much time in our main region of ministry. Brother Prasanth (both he and Wesley are pastors) is now working full-time with his father's pastoral ministry, and Wesley has been willing to come and help with the larger portion of the ministry, and handling the funds. Here, he is praying for one of our elderly people named Peace (long name in the Telugu language).
ABOVE: This is Peace with her husband, Moses, both unable to work. We are helping Peace with her paralysis medication. Please pray for her, as her health has been very poor recently.
ABOVE: Brother Marthababu and Pavani his wife faithfully visit many places and many families as part of our children's ministry. Here, he is sharing the Word with a family (3 generations) in a village called Chilakala Colony.
ABOVE: Brother Wesley sharing JESUS with a group in one of our family's home. We're very thankful to be a part of souls coming to the Lord. Only 3 of these people are part of the one family, the remainder (some not in the photo) being neighbors.
ABOVE: Like many people in India, Wesley for some reason doesn't usually smile in the photos. He really isn't as serious as he looks! From left the girls are Martha, Prasanna, Mary, Sirisha, Shine and Veni. The little one is Hasini. Your donations are helping all these children with education. It has been said, "Education is the gateway for the Gospel." We can see that in action!
ABOVE: Brother Raju is sharing in a home (not sure which family's home this is) in another village. We are so thankful for this group, perhaps all of them, even the children having a tender heart for the Lord.
ABOVE: Wesley in Pradeep and Navya's home in another village called Buddam, Navya the girl on the left with the red covering on her head, and Pradeep the boy on the right. We're assisting them with education also, as well as the little girl (with her head down), Lasya, who is doing better after being temporarily blind from an accident.
ABOVE: These children are part of a Sunday School class in the village of NTR Colony. Looks like Brother Bhaskara Rao has them in a running race of some kind.
ABOVE: Twins Mary (left) and Martha, very dear to our hearts. Both girls have now finished their 2nd year of nursing. Sadly, their college principal changed directions on us, and is possibly sending these girls to a nearby city for their practical training. We normally don't help with education if the children are not staying local so that we can minister the Lord to them and their families. We will make an exception for these girls if it's necessary, but are praying they will stay with us.
ABOVE: Wesley is praying for Sister Jayasri (in the yellow) and her 5 children, Jayasri a single mother. A very precious family. Assisting all the children with education, the 3 girls in college. As we have shared with you so many times, our main priority is their spiritual lives, but the education keeps us closely connected, and perhaps will also break the poverty cycle in their lives.
