Yet the Lord Thinks Upon Me
RHM July Update
Dear RHM Friends,
Greetings in the Name of our Precious Lord JESUS.
"But I am poor and needy, yet the Lord thinks upon me. You are my help and my deliverer;
do not delay, O my God." Psalms 40:17
Isn't it amazing that "the Lord thinks upon me"? As David said in Psalms 8:4,
"What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You care for him?" This entire ministry is a reflection of His care for the poor and needy, demonstrating over and over again how He cares for us, and wants to help and deliver us. We are so thankful to have a part!
Perhaps nothing earth shaking to share about in this update, but try to tell that to the people below. For them they have indeed had circumstances that have rocked their world, but the Lord shows Himself faithful again and again. Pray that they (and ourselves included) will be able to see the mercy and tender care of our heavenly Father as He lifts them out of their pain, and ministers to them in the midst of their pain.
Please see and read the photos & captions below, These captions always give you things that you can pray for, as well as rejoice with us for what the Lord is doing in the lives of our precious Indian friends.
Thank you ALWAYS for your love, prayers and support! Bless you.
Brother Dan
"So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith." Galatians 6:10

ABOVE: Deborah & Vijay's grandmother, Chandramma, has been part of our widows ministry for a long time, a good and prayerful woman. In 2020 her daughter's husband abandoned her, Deborah being about 3 years old, and Vijay either still in the womb or just recently born. They have been staying with Chandramma since that time. Just one month or so back, Chandramma's son kicked all of them out of her own home, perhaps fearful that she would give the home to her daughter and the kids when she dies. We have moved the family of 4 into a home in Bapatla, the kids going to new schools, and the mother, Suvartha, trying to find new work. Please pray for this family, and help if the Lord leads you. For some time we will be helping them with rent and other expenses.

ABOVE: The girl sitting is Prasanna (17), her mother and another relative there as Brother Raju prays. Prasanna had to have 2 surgeries to remove a growth on the back of her head that was causing her much pain and many tears. Please pray for total recovery, with no complications.

|
ABOVE: At the same time that Prasanna (above photo) has been suffering, her older sister, Sirisha (20 and in her 1st year of nursing college), has also had problems. Her hemoglobin level went down to 6, which is dangerously low. The only reason we know of is that she has consistently had over-bleeding during her monthly cycles. Pray for proper treatment and recovery. |

ABOVE: Abhinaya, who has her 15th birthday tomorrow on the 1st, has started dental treatment, getting new braces on her teeth. She needs some preliminary work done, including pulling some teeth, before putting the braces on. We're not sure why, but she fainted last week and hit her head, which has delayed the pulling of teeth. Pray for this precious girl.

ABOVE: Many of you may remember that the little girl, Lasya (9), accidentally stuck a knife in her eye, causing her to be blind in that eye. Two surgeries have been done, and she is now able to see. Praise the Lord! But she still needs one more surgery, we are being told. Not sure how they are paying for these surgeries, but we're thankful they are being done. Pray for Lasya and her healing, and that they won't go into deep debt (the mother is poor, the father leaving the home over a year ago; even when he shows up, he doesn't care for the family's needs).

ABOVE: Raju (Telugu word for "king") is sharing the Word with a group in Martha and Mary's home. We try to have as many of these house gatherings as financially possible, as they are very edifying. We know that some neighbors and family members have come to the Lord through these meetings.

ABOVE: Pavani, left, is praying for Veni's family, Veni (17) the girl second from the right. Their family was totally idolaters until Veni started coming to our meetings, and she committed her life to the Lord. She led her mother (shorter woman to the left) to the Lord a couple of years ago, for which we praise the Lord! Still, the family has some big spiritual needs, especially with the Dad and Veni's sister. Please pray for them. |

ABOVE: Brother Marthababu and his wife Pavani (also full time children's workers along with Raju and his Pavani) visit a family in this village regularly. The people are precious, but the soil of their hearts is difficult to work with. Education is not a priority, so none of the children go to school, and only a few know how to read (they attended school only in the lower grades). They do have a pastor who comes to their village regularly, and we trust that the Lord is working in their hearts. |
