Making the Most of the Holidays
RHM October Update
Dear RHM Friends and Partners,
Greetings in the Name of our Precious Lord JESUS.
"Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is." Ephesians 5:15-17
The above Scriptures are verses which the Lord has used in my life for many years, challenging me not to waste my time while here on this earth. We've only got one chance to do what He's called us to do. May we unite our hearts with the calling of JESUS in John 9:4,
"We must work the works of Him Who sent Me as long as it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work." These verses go very well with Galatians 6:10 below.
All of the photos below were taken during recent holidays in India, a festival called Dasara, which celebrates the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, and righteousness over injustice, based upon the Hindu fables. Unfortunately, it's just another deception of Satan, a counterfeit to the REAL victory which was won at Calvary! There's no real victory as long as sin still reigns in the human heart. Yes, Satan and sin were defeated, but it wasn't "Lord Rama" or "Goddess Durga" who conquered sin, death and the devil, both of them supposedly defeating great enemies. It was our Lord JESUS Christ, and He did it in weakness, going to the Cross to be the Substitute for our sins. Hallelujah! What a better way to "celebrate" Dasara than to go into the enemy's territory, ministering His truth and love to impact many lives. This is making the most of the holidays!
Please see and read the photos & captions below. These captions always give you things that you can pray for, as well as rejoice with us for what the Lord is doing in the lives of our precious Indian friends.
Thank you ALWAYS for your love, prayers and support! Bless you.
Brother Dan
"So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith." Galatians 6:10
