Ministry Overhaul
November 2, 2020 Update

Dear RHM Friends,

Greetings in the Name of our Precious Lord JESUS.

Please forgive me for the delay/absence of communication in recent weeks. While I was still in India, the last several weeks were full of ministry, spiritual warfare and computer problems. Since returning to America about 11 days ago, still the spiritual warfare and computer problems are there, but add to that some health problems. Praise GOD that I've been Covid-free, but there's been enough other issues to fill the gap. I'll try to get back into the swing of things soon.

I'll try to keep this short, as I realize most people's minds are more focused on the elections these days. Let's continue to stand together in prayer, that the Lord in His mercy will override the tremendous amount of deception & corruption which blinds the minds of so much of the American population. When we consider the issues which are at hand, it's incredibly sad to think that this would even be a close race. How far this nation has drifted over the last several decades! The Lord unexpectedly had mercy on us in 2016; He's able to do the same again.  "Blessed be the LORD, for He has made marvelous His lovingkindness to me in a besieged city." Psalms 31:21

What does "ministry overhaul" mean? As you know, RHM is no longer affiliated with the HOPE ministry, which is a big change. We're now doing some "investigation" concerning another ministry where there's allegations of financial misconduct. But still there is so much beautiful ministry taking place among more than 160 widows & elderly people, about 18 or more children whom we're committed to helping when they are in need (though they live with their relatives), many other single mothers & families whom the Lord has us assisting, villages where family and children's ministry is taking place, etc.

But please keep us in prayer, as there are demonic forces which have been trying for months to make problems for the ministry, even going before government officials to make complaints about the ministry which we are doing. And sad thing is: the main person whom the enemy is using claims to be a "Christian". Please read 1 Corinthians 6:1-8 to see what the Lord says in regard to believers going before unbelievers to file cases, make complaints, etc. That is what is happening here, so we are greatly in need of our Father's protection. These things should never be happening, and ultimately who is it who gets hurt when ministry is shut down? It's a few hundred poor people who are not only getting physical needs met, but who are also hearing the Words of our GOD. "Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings." Psalms 17:8

One last thing: as part of this warfare which has taken place, I no longer have a valid visa to be able to return to India. I feel a little lost these days, not having a clue what He has for the future, whether here in America or in India. Crying to Him, and trusting for direction:  "You are my Hiding Place...I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you." Psalms 32:7-8

Thank you always for your love, prayers and support! Scroll down to see some of what the Lord is doing through your giving & prayers. Bless you.

Brother Dan

"So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith."  Galatians 6:10

Above: Look at those beautiful smiles! It's a gift from GOD to be able to connect with the children, and Brother Bhaskara Rao has that ability. Pray for his children's ministry, RHM supporting him 8 times a month as he shares with children in 5 different villages.
ABOVE: Bhaskara Rao (left) with children in the same tribal village as the previous photo.
ABOVE: A new member in our widows & elderly ministry. Bharathi was only 25 years old when her husband died of AIDS in 2010, her son, Arun Kumar, only about 1 year old at the time. Sadly, Bharathi also got HIV from her husband, so is living the remainder of her life as a sickly widow. The Lord has helped her, as she is maintaining a life of reasonable health; but she doesn't have the strength to hold down any job. Pray for His healing touch. RHM has committed to helping the boy with his future education and other needs.

ABOVE: This man's name is Fazullula Khan, from a Muslim background. He also has become part of the widows & elderly ministry recently. He's 60, his wife much younger. He uses a catheter fulltime, as both of his kidneys are in danger of shutting down. He also has diabetes & heart problems. Please pray for Khan, who is supposed to undergo a kidney operation soon. Also, pray for his salvation.
ABOVE: A really precious family, whom we've shared with you about previously. The mother (orange dress) is the one who held her baby girl (Daddy holding her in this photo) while their auto rickshaw tumbled off the road into a field below. Both parents were hospitalized, but the baby was unscratched. Pray for this mother, now pregnant with her 5th child. She's having stomach pains and is on medication for some kind of liver problem. A very poor family, whom we've been very blessed to assist at different times. "I am poor and needy, yet the Lord is mindful of me." Psalms 40:17
ABOVE: Another precious family whom we connected with in recent months. The father (right) was near death because of his heavy drinking, but has come to Christ. His wife and daughter, Esther Rani (middle 2 in the photo), are both serious believers. I'm not sure the story about the Aunty on the left. Because of their age & health problems, the parents can't work much. Esther Rani is still studying, but had a terrible burn recently on her leg, as another little boy knocked over a pot of boiling water onto her leg. Now it's much better.
ABOVE: Next door to Esther Rani's home is this family. The 2 little girls are Yesu Meri and Sukanya, their mother dying of some kind of seizure shortly after giving birth to the 2nd girl. The 2 women are the children's grandma and great grandma. After the mother died, the girls' father abandoned them. The grandfather (an alcoholic) also left the home some years back. Now it's just these 4 and 1 teenage boy (the girls' mother's brother). The boy stopped his studies to try and work to help the family.
ABOVE: Another poor family the Lord's using us to help now and then. The little children are Prem Kumari (7 year old girl) and Vijay Babu (6, boy). Their mother committed suicide when the children were very small. The father then left the family. The children now stay with the grandparents, great grandparents, and one Aunt (right). Prem Kumari still is not able to talk. We're wanting to take her to a doctor to inquire about the cause for that.
ABOVE: Jyothi, one of the single mothers in a tailoring project which we've started in recent days. Jyothi has had some kind of seizures for years. For this cause her husband left her years ago. She has a beautiful 5 year old girl, Prasanna. They stay with Jyothi's parents and brother. Pray for the tailoring project, which is providing training for 13 young women, 7 of them single mothers struggling to provide for their children.
ABOVE: Brother Raju with one of the elderly, Yesumma, inside her little hut. Yesumma probably won't be with us much longer, as she has eaten very little for months.
ABOVE: This is Bhargavi, the daughter of a widow named Raja Kumari. Raja Kumari has had cancer, but was healed. In recent months, twice she has had water removed from her lungs. Now she's feeling a little better. She, Bhargavi and another son live in this little room. The stone flooring and several repairs were done recently to stop the leaks. They are very thankful.
ABOVE: Raju leading literacy class in one of the villages. It's mostly widows & elderly who attend here, but a few others sometimes come. We have such a longing to see the people understand the VALUE of GOD's Word. What a pity that multitudes are able to read, and yet think lightly of the tremendous blessing of being able to access our Creator's promises, instructions, warnings, examples, etc. for our lives!
ABOVE: A very nice Sunday School class in one of the villages which Brother Bhaskara Rao visits a couple of times a month. The girl on the back row, 2nd from right, is Kumari. The Lord used us to help her with marriage expenses recently, and she is now one of the main Sunday School leaders in this village.
ABOVE: Fifteen precious children with Raju. We had gone there simply to visit, but ended up with an impromptu opportunity to do some children's ministry with them (Raju shared a nice story with them, comparing Samuel with Samson in the Bible).
ABOVE: Brother Wesley sharing the Word of GOD in a village church in his area. Brother Wesley leads RHM's widows & elderly ministry in his part of the state. This meeting was arranged for the 5 or 6 elderly there, but several others, including the pastor (right), also attended.
ABOVE: The brother nearest the bright light is Philip, a veterinarian/pastor. He's praying for the people in this small tribal colony, where they try to conduct a Bible study/prayer meeting once a week. Such precious people. The family in the 5th photo of this update also live in this small village.
