Needing Help For the Newly Married Couple
ANUSHA

Dear RHM Friends,

Some of you may remember Anusha, part of the HOPE children's home from 2003 until 2016. After she finished her nursing college, she chose to leave HOPE (a ministry which RHM was previously involved with) and search for a job in a hospital. I only know of 2 hospitals where she worked, both in large cities. She now works in a hospital in Hyderabad, along with her new husband, Prabhakar.

Earlier this year, Anusha got Covid and was quarantined in the same hospital where she works. After recovering, she has only worked in the Corona Ward of the hospital. She's a hard worker and has paid for many of the reception expenses herself.

Without giving all the details, Anusha is from a poor family, her father dying a few years ago. Prabhakar's family took responsibility for the actual wedding expenses, which was conducted in his village on November 19th. The "reception" in India is often a totally separate event, and often in the bride's village. Thus is the case here, and Anusha's family was responsible for the reception held on the 21st in their village. For the photographer, cooks and food vendors, Anusha still owes a little more than $300. We also are hoping in the Lord to bless the new couple with needed things in their new rent house: cooking vessels & utensils, a bed, a couple of almirahs (storage for clothes, books, many things), and whatever else they may need.

Please pray about participating as the Lord leads you. Anusha, though joyful because of her marriage, has been somewhat sad because so few people have been willing to help her at this very important time of her life. We trust the Lord to use us to encourage their hearts that our Father is always watching over His children. Asking the Lord for about $1,000 to assist them in covering all these expenses. If extra donations come, that would certainly be an added blessing for them.

Thank you always for your love, prayers and support! Bless you. Scroll down to see a few photos of Anusha.
