Critical Prayer Needs
March 11, 2021 Update

Dear RHM Friends,

Greetings in the Name of our Precious Lord JESUS.

"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." James 5:16

There are 4 pressing needs I request you to pray about at this time. All of these 4 people, one of them a child, are very much in need of prayer at this time:
1.  Joy (13), the child in the 1st and 2nd photos below. Type 1 diabetes began manifesting in her body when she was 11, and for the last several months has been in and out of the hospital. Her sugar levels are often above 500, but many times below 50 or 60 as well. She is far too thin, and also has a problem with much vomiting at times. About 2 weeks ago Joy began to have severe pain in her stomach and right side. After having various tests done, it was determined that she has TB also (tuberculosis). Presently, she is in a TB specialty hospital having more tests done. Please pray for the Lord's healing on this child, and if He chooses to use the medical field to bring healing, proper diagnosis.
2. Raja Kumari, one of the widows in our widows & elderly ministry, needs a miracle from the Lord. She was healed of cancer a couple of years ago (after chemo & radiation), but several months ago started getting water in her lungs. After going to at least 3 different hospitals, it has been "confirmed" that she has cancer. Now in a well known, reputable cancer hospital, we are again "waiting for results". As many of you have probably experienced, it can be VERY frustrating. Please pray for her, as she has suffered so much, and is mostly on the bed.
3. Krupamma is also part of the widows & elderly ministry, a severe diabetic whom we have asked you to pray for previously. In 2019 and 2020 (2 separate operations) she had both legs amputated above the knee (photo below). She has a loving husband (both of them very poor) who takes really good care of her, helping her with most everything. Several months ago, while her husband was pushing her outside a church in her 3 wheel cycle, her cycle was hit by a rash motorcycle driver and she fell onto the street. The doctors didn't think she could recover, but she did. But in the process of so much suffering and pain, she has lost much of her mental capacities. It seems that she is no longer able to carry on a conversation, and doesn't understand others. Please pray for her.
4. Chandraiah: This man is married and part of our widows & elderly ministry in Brother Wesley's area (photo also below). Chandraiah has a tumor in his stomach and is under treatment. He is not doing well, and is noticeably weaker compared to the last time I was with him about one year ago. Please pray for Chandraiah.

For all of the 4 people mentioned above, please pray also for their spiritual lives. Nothing is more important than their salvation. We have hope in GOD's mercy for a young girl like Joy (a pastor's daughter), that she is covered by the Blood of JESUS in case she were to pass from this world. Raja Kumari seems to be a solid believer. But I honestly don't know about Krupamma or Chandraiah, as I personally haven't spent much time with them. But they are faithful to attend church and other "prayers". Our greatest desire is for their salvation (Romans 10:1). We are so thankful for this ministry of being able to help the poor and broken, as the Lord uses the physical helps to bless them, alleviate their suffering, and draw their hearts near unto Him. But all the food, medical assistance, hut repairs, etc. in the world cannot keep them out of hell if their hearts are not in right relationship with GOD. Please pray with us for the salvation of ALL those we're ministering to in Christ.

The last prayer request for now is for the 14 or 15 year old girl, Venkata Ramana, whom we mentioned in our last update. Her 20 year old husband died a couple of months ago in an electrical accident, leaving her with a 1 year old boy, and 7 months pregnant. A couple of weeks ago she had her baby during the 8th month of pregnancy, and the baby boy is not doing well, still in an incubator. She and her family are unbelievers, and we are hoping in the Lord that they will see the love of Christ through us. Pray for the life of this baby boy, and for all the family's salvation.

Thank you always for your love, prayers and support! Scroll down to see some of what the Lord is doing through your giving & prayers. Bless you.

Brother Dan

"So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith."  Galatians 6:10

ABOVE:  Joy, the 13 year old mentioned above, has spent much of her life over the last few months either at home, or in and out of the hospitals. She loves to go to school, and is a leader in her 8th grade, not only in her grades, but also in helping the teacher. But for the last 3 weeks or so she hasn't been able to attend school.
ABOVEJoy's mother's name is Dayamani. You can see the tears on her face, watching her daughter suffer. Here, Joy is in a hospital, having severe stomach pain. Her mother has spent most of her time the last few months sitting with Joy at home and in the hospitals, praying for her and trying to comfort her. Joy is their only child, whom they had late in life.
ABOVE: Raja Kumari, the 2nd urgent need mentioned above. Here, she is at home, water draining from her lungs. Her daughter told us a few days ago that about 300ml of water is coming out each day. She is in much pain, waiting for the results from the cancer hospital.

ABOVE: Krupamma, the 3rd urgent prayer need above. Here she is sleeping when Brother Raju went to visit her.
ABOVE: Chandraiah, the 4th urgent need mentioned above, with his wife Thirupamma. The last time I saw him was before the Covid lockdowns in India last March. He looked so much healthier at that time.
ABOVE: In our last update in February, we shared photos & profiles of 20 children whom we're involved with, supporting in various ways. We have 3 more to share with you in this update. These two children, Pradeep (11) & Navya (9), are from a broken family in the village of Buddam. Some time after the Dad came to Christ, his brothers plotted to take away their property. One of the brothers (a local policeman) beat him very badly. They finally had to walk away from their property, now living with the mother-in-law in a hut. By His grace, we are helping these little ones with their school fees.

ABOVE: This little one is Bindu. Bindu and her brother have parents, but the father is a drinker and is not caring for them properly. The mother has mental problems, sometimes abusive. In November the mother disappeared; still no one knows where she is. The Dad took the kids to his parents, then brought Bindu back to grandma and great grandma on the mother’s side. Helping this precious girl with education and all else needed.
ABOVE: These are all members of the widows & elderly ministry in KB Palem after receiving new Christmas clothes in December.
ABOVE: Widows & elderly from the village of Subba Reddy Colony. Most of them also were participating in the literacy classes until the Covid lockdowns began last March. The literacy attendance is slowly getting back to normal. Please continue in prayer for the widows & elderly ministry. We want to encourage their hearts, and prepare them for His return.
ABOVE: This is Subbulamma from KB Palem. She was brokenhearted as she shared about her son, who is still an alcoholic. His own wife and sons had beaten him and kicked him out of the house. That was about one month or more ago, but now there has been some reconciliation and he's back home. Subbulamma is a sweet believer.
ABOVE: These are elderly from the village of Bangarakkapalem. The brother on the right is their pastor, Yesu Ratnam. The sister on the left is not one of the elderly.
ABOVE: This is Brother Raju (fulltime minister with our widows & elderly) on his wedding day, February 25th. His bride is Pavani. When sending this photo to me, Raju wrote on the caption, "these are my family members." The woman to the right of Pavani is Muthyalu with her daughter and grandchildren. They are all part of a tribal colony near to Raju's church. Pray for Muthyalu's daughter (older girl on right side), who is still enslaved to alcohol, which has done much harm to her family with 5 children.
ABOVE: Brother Raju and I went to visit people in the village of Nandayapalem, and ended up with many children gathering for an impromptu opportunity to share with them. Raju is very gifted with the children. He loves them very much.
ABOVE: Brother Bhaskara Rao (right) leading Sunday School in the village of Chilakala Colony. Usually they are doing Sunday School inside their church building, but this time crossed the road and had a nice time out by the rice fields. Precious children; looks like all girls in class on this Sunday.
ABOVE: The young lady sitting is Rani. She has so much love for the children, especially in her large village. Most all of these children are from Hindu families, but the parents know Rani and her character, so are willing to send their children to Sunday School. There may be 80 to 100 children in her village, but 10 to 15 regularly come to SS, and 5 to 15 come to the daily tutoring that she conducts in their village church. Pray for Rani's ministry there. It's big progress, simply the fact that some of the villagers are willing to send their children into a church building.
ABOVE: A very nice Christmas meeting in December. About 6 of the children are from the ministry's church, but all the rest are from this poor village of KB Palem. They are happily enjoying whatever is being presented at this time, possibly Brother Bhaskara Rao's puppet show.
