Binding Up Their Wounds
October 19, 2021 Update
Dear RHM Friends,
Greetings in the Name of our Precious Lord JESUS.
"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."
Psalms 147:3
That is the GOD whom we serve, a GOD, a Father, a loving Creator (in spite of the rebellion of most of the human beings in creation), who would actually care enough about us that He would be concerned about our pains and problems. The greatest love story ever told is found in the Bible! GOD Almighty, who has every right to put us all in hell for the sins we've committed against Him, instead extends mercy to His enemies by sending His own Son to take the punishment which we so deserve! No love story within any means of communication could possibly match the magnitude of what our Creator has done for us. And oh the love of JESUS our Savior, He who knew no sin, yet became sin on our behalf (2 Corinthians 5:21)! Why would One so high and holy care about our hurts and problems? His love & mercy can never be explained sufficiently, and those who receive Him will spend all eternity praising Him for that love!
Scroll down to see some of what is happening in India via this ministry these days. Please pray for the needs expressed in the captions. Let GOD's love extend through your prayers toward these oftentimes broken people. Only after we enter into glory will we truly comprehend the importance of prayer! For whatever reasons, the Father has chosen to do much of His work of convicting, saving, healing, restoring, judging, etc. in response to the prayers of His people. That is something in which ALL of us can participate. PTL!
Next month, we will share with you about what we have in our hearts for Christmas programs this year. Sure wish I could be there, but I (we) can rejoice that many lives are being impacted in a positive and eternal way through these programs. Many unbelievers will attend out of curiosity, and hear clear messages concerning the REASONS why Christ was born. Many believers in India will put HUGE stars out by the road at Christmas time, but most of the stars don't say anything about JESUS, and the unbelievers (and many within the churches) never understand the connection between these stars and Christmas. But in our meetings, I'm confident that the Gospel will be shared very clearly, giving opportunity for the sinner to find refuge in our Savior. Please pray for that in the days to come.
Bless you all!
Brother Dan

ABOVE: Brother Peter, a pastor in the village of Pakala, bedridden for the last 5 months. Peter has serious problems with diabetes and digestion. He's only able to take liquids. We're planning to send him to a better hospital. Please pray for this brother.

ABOVE: Mangamma is from Chinthayapalem, part of our widows ministry. She also has diabetes, and is currently suffering with a wound on her ankle which is not healing properly. Please pray for her.

ABOVE: Aparanjani is from a village called Patisonpet. Her mother was a pastor for many years. When Aparanjani's husband left her in the 1980's, she went to live with her mother and began helping her in ministry. Her mother passed away some years ago, and Aparanjani has continued that ministry. We recently repaired the slab roof of her house behind her. |

ABOVE: Shivangi is the mother of these twin girls, Martha (left) and Mary. The girls' Daddy died of Covid in 2020. They are holding the document for their property. They have lived on the spot behind them for all the girls' lives, but the property was not actually in their name. You might remember that their house had no walls, electricity, flooring or running water. Before we could start construction, we wanted to make sure the property was in their name. Brother Hanock worked very hard for many days to finalize this legal work. PTL!

ABOVE: Mary & Martha (seems that Mary is always on the right and Martha on the left in the photos) doing their homework on the cot. Seems like an ordinary scene, except for the fact that they have electricity for the first time in years, if not their entire lives! Previously they only had a candle, so they would often study at a neighbor's house. They're sitting under the fan. Thank You Lord!

ABOVE: Construction started about a week ago. Lord willing, within 2 or 3 more weeks, they will have walls, windows, a door, stone flooring, and a decent bathroom for the first time in their lifetime. We hope to have a water pump on their property also, so that they don't have to continue walking to another part of the village for water.

ABOVE: When we first saw Martha & Mary, you could see the sadness in their hearts. It was simply a way of life. They and their mother are in some shock as to how their life has changed so much within the last 4 months. They told us that they never had hope for such changes in their lives. Here Brother Prasanth is giving cake to the girls on their 16th birthday in September, the first time they ever had a celebration for their birthday! Our Father and precious Lord JESUS truly bring beauty from ashes into many people's lives around the world on a daily basis. Hallelujah!

ABOVE: At left is Bhargavi, giving some fruit and snacks to some widows in a nursing home in her city. Bhargavi probably would not be happy if she knew we are using this photo on the internet, as she doesn't like to do any of these things before a camera. I hope we all have that attitude, but if we don't take photos or videos, our donors wouldn't have much idea about what the Lord is doing through their donations and prayers. |

ABOVE: Brother Prasanth is speaking in a special meeting conducted during recent holidays in India (a major Hindu festival, so all of the schools and many businesses were closed). They actually had meetings for 5 days, but this particular day (morning to late afternoon) was specifically for our widows, elderly and children whom the Lord has us helping.

ABOVE: Most of the day the widows & elderly were in the church having a meeting, and the children were meeting separately. Here, Teja (left) is teaching the children, doing some kind of dialogue with Jaison (8). The children loved being able to come to these meetings!

ABOVE: This is Shainy (the girl on left) and Srujan, brother and sister. Their Daddy died of Covid in March or April of this year. We're so thankful to be able to participate in the educational support of about 30 children, providing fees, books, bicycles, uniforms...whatever is needed. Here they are in their new uniforms. Please pray for all these children, for their education, salvation and walk with GOD.

ABOVE: This is 10 year old Sai Bhavya, so happy to get a new bicycle so she can ride to school each day. Though she might look too small for the bike, Bhavya is pretty bold, and is riding it without any problem. She lives with her grandmother, her parents both dying when she was small. A precious girl.

ABOVE: Rani (in the blue or violet dress near the stone) is leading "tuition" (tutoring) at least 5 days a week in her village. Most of these children are back in school now, but it helps them to get some extra tutoring through the week. We sponsor Rani, so she's able to offer the tutoring free for the children. She also shares JESUS with the children many times. Please pray for Rani's ministry to the children (she also leads in Sunday School once a week), as very few of these children have Christian influence in their homes.
