Precious Ministry, CHRISTmas is Near
November 16, 2022 Update

Dear RHM Friends,

Greetings in the Name of our Precious Lord JESUS.

I thought I would have an update for you several days ago, but another wave of activities and commitments came through, so it's a little bit late. Please be aware that I would like to share certain details about the ministry more freely with you, but there are forces of darkness which look for opportunities to make problems for the ministry. It's important not to give too much information unnecessarily, including names and locations. I trust the Lord as far as my personal involvement here in India, but I definitely don't want to make any problems for the precious (yes, I like the word precious) brothers and sisters who are giving their lives for the children, elderly and other needy here.

Some quick followup: we asked you to pray for a young believer named Chanti, she and her son having HIV. She was having severe stomach pains, but is currently feeling much better, although when I saw her yesterday she had almost lost her voice. Thank you so much for praying for her. She and her son Paul need prayer continually.

Another prayer need: One of our widows, Dhanay, is experiencing some mental or demonic attacks the last few days. She has been a faithful and prayerful believer for many years, but suddenly (without any reason anyone is aware of) isn't wanting to come to the prayer meetings. We're now involved in "40 days of fasting prayer" meetings, every night having services in 3 different churches. Every morning during these 40 days (ending the last day of November) the 2 main branch churches are open to anyone wanting to come and pray. Dhanay is normally involved in most or all the prayer meetings and services. Her own children (grown and married) apparently found her yesterday in a field with her Bible, and brought her to the church. At this time she is staying in the church (during these 40 days there are several people staying there). Pray for Dhanay, and for the Lord's wisdom in regard to her. He knows exactly what is happening, and what she needs...

CHRISTmas is fast approaching. We're planning to do things a little differently this year. In previous years we often moved forward by faith, trusting the Lord to provide for the different outreaches and gift distributions the Lord had laid upon our hearts. The reason I say "by faith" is because some Christmas donations don't come until near to Christmas day, and by that time most of our programs have already been completed. Thankfully, by the grace of GOD we had a large donation given last year, so were able to move forward with all that the Lord had spoken to our hearts about. This year we're only planning to do according to what He places within our hands. In other words, if the funds aren't there, we won't do the gifts or bonuses for those who are ministering with us, etc. We're also planning not to give gifts to all the village children this year, but will still do some great meetings in about 8 or 9 different locations (mostly small villages) and distribute snacks. If the funds come in, only then we are planning to purchase some Bible storybooks and missionary-type books for the 50-60 children we work with on a more regular basis, and only according to the funds which come in we will give the bonuses this year. Our goal this year is $2,000 for the village programs & snacks, small bonuses for our main workers, and the storybooks & other books for some of the children.

Whatever happens financially, we're happy, and will continue on with the meetings where we can share the precious Gospel to many, as well as share WHY our Father would send His own Son to such a wicked place (Isaiah 53:3-8). Please pray, and if the Lord lays it upon your heart to give for this year's Christmas endeavors via RHM, please designate your gift accordingly. But most of all, pray for His blessing upon many souls.

Please scroll down for precious photos & captions of the work in India. There is MUCH information within these captions about what the Lord is doing in India via this ministry.

Bless you always for your prayers and support!

"So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith."  Galatians 6:10

ABOVE: 10th grade students in the school where we have 20 students whom RHM is assisting with education and other needs which might be in their families. Contrary to the US where 12th grade is a benchmark grade, in this part of India it is critical for the students to pass the final exams in the 10th grade or they won't be able to continue with "college" studies (11th & 12th grades they call "intermediate", and then after that is "degree" studies). The children in the 10th grade whom the Lord has connected us with are Sirisha (2nd girl from the left) and Jone (2nd boy from the right).
ABOVE: 9th grade students. Our children are Mahima & Pinky (2nd & 3rd girls from the left), Johnbasha and Pradeep (2nd and 5th boys from the right).
ABOVE: 8th grade students. Our children are Prasanna (girl on the left) and Sreeya (the girl next to her).
ABOVE: 7th grade students. Our only child is Sonia (4th girl from the left).
ABOVE: 6th grade students with the principal of the school. Our children are Arun (3rd boy from the left), Sameera (3rd girl from the left) and Navya (4th girl from the right).
ABOVE: This is one tribal family which lives very near to one of the churches we are connected with in reaching out to the people. There's actually 11 children and 2 wives in this family. Here we have given them new clothes and some Scripture plaques during last year's Christmas season.
ABOVE: Sister Jhansi (2nd from right) is with the Alluru elderly after giving them new blankets. Jhansi was involved in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident the same day I came to this state by train in September. She wasn't able to work with the elderly for a couple of weeks, but seems to be completely healed now. Praise the Lord!
ABOVE: Sai Bhavya and her grandmother outside their home.  Bhavya's parents passed when she was small; these two have much love for each other, and Aruna (the grandmother) is on our widows' list. Bhavya is now in the 6th grade.
ABOVE: We had a precious youth meeting in early October. Here is Brother Prasanth leading in a time of worship and praise.

ABOVE: This is during our youth meetings we had for 2 or 3 days in early October. After the message, a brother divided them into groups. Beautiful to see young people pouring out their hearts to a faithful and loving GOD!
ABOVE: Brother Karuna is praying during devotion time when we took 9 girls on an excursion to the big city of Vizag. Karuna has a wonderful testimony of how the Lord has provided for his family over the years. He is blind, his wife having only one leg (this was their condition when they got married at around 20 years old). We hope and pray that these kind of testimonies will impact the hearts and lives of these children for many years.
ABOVE: Hannah (15) with her new sewing machine (it's used, but new for her). We've shared her family's testimony a few times before, so no need to repeat it again. We are so thankful to be part of the Lord's restoration in their lives after so many years of suffering. "For He will deliver the needy when he cries for help, the afflicted also, and him who has no helper. He will have compassion on the poor and needy, and the lives of the needy He will save." Ps. 72:12-13

ABOVE: Brother Abraham (left) with 6 girls which we took with us to his home/church for prayer and lunch, and then afterward went to a "prayer garden" and spent some great time with the children and a few adults in our group. Brother Abraham's wife (of course, Sarah), daughter and granddaughter are also in the photo, along with Esther (pink dress), another girl the Lord has us assisting with education and food for her family. Pavani (Raju's wife, 3rd from the right) is also there, she and her husband leading the children's work for RHM.
ABOVE: In one excursion we took, mostly with boys, we first visited some type of palace, supposedly built about 1,500 years ago. Considering the lack of modern tools or machinery, it was really impressive. But most important is that we had a great time of bonding with the children. PTL!
ABOVE: As part of the same excursion mentioned in the previous photo, we went up on a mountain (mostly driving our motorcycle and an auto rickshaw on winding roads). It was beautiful scenery, and again, a great time together. With Brother Raju (man on the right) are 7 boys. Brother Abraham, his wife Sarah and the 3 girls (part of his congregation) are on the left. We had asked you to pray for Sister Sarah, who was involved in a motorcycle accident in September. She was in a coma for a couple of days, but as you can see in the photo (taken about 5 weeks after the accident), she is happy and climbing mountains. Praise the Lord!!!
ABOVE: We wanted to have a time of devotions with the children before taking them back to their homes, and the Lord gave us a precious opportunity to visit a church in a leper colony during the return journey. We didn't know we would be going there, and they were in the middle of Sunday School class when we arrived. It was an unexpected blessing for all of us. Praise the Lord!
